About the role

  • Gather required documentation and information from clients to support their claims
  • Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process which can be lengthy
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure that their claims are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with social security administration officials to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
  • Keep detailed records of client interactions and claim status updates
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to social security policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience working with social security claims or similar benefits programs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate support
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of social security policies and procedures (preferred)
