About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the Infrastructure team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance oversight
- Develop and execute the enterprise infrastructure roadmap aligned with business objectives and growth plans
- Own infrastructure capacity planning, lifecycle management, and refresh strategies for network and server/compute environments
- Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring and observability across network, server, and database environments
- Oversee database administration functions including backup and recovery, performance tuning, patching, and query optimization
- Design and maintain resilient, highly available server and network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
- Manage infrastructure vendor relationships, hardware procurement, maintenance contracts, and managed service providers
- Define and govern infrastructure standards, policies, and documentation
- Collaborate with Information Security on infrastructure security standards, vulnerability remediation, and compliance
- Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including RTO/RPO objectives and testing
- Support and secure operational technology infrastructure with Manufacturing and Engineering teams
- Drive infrastructure automation initiatives
- Lead infrastructure projects from scoping through delivery
- Support on-call escalations for critical infrastructure issues and establish team escalation procedures
- Provide supporting infrastructure for enterprise application and ERP platforms such as Sage X3
- Manage standardized BOMs and infrastructure deployment standards for new building projects and site upgrades
- Direct endpoint architecture and management strategy, including lifecycle, imaging, provisioning, MDM, patching, updates, and endpoint security
- Lead participation in Corporate Responsibility initiatives
- Perform food safety responsibilities and other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure engineering, including 3 or more years in a leadership or management capacity; or 3 or more years of experience with an advanced degree
- Deep expertise in enterprise network design and administration, including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, and SD-WAN/ZTNA
- Strong experience with Microsoft server technologies, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure, including Azure networking and hybrid connectivity
- Experience managing projects focused on scalability, resilience, and maintainability
- Experience with storage area network (SAN) devices preferred
- Experience in Manufacturing organizations and operational technology (OT) environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical staff and communicate infrastructure strategy to senior leadership
