Learning Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responds to emergent learning needs by identifying appropriate learning modalities and developing targeted solutions.
- Partners with stakeholders across the organization to assess learning objectives and support the design and delivery of learning content.
- Serves as an organizational resource for best practices in learning program development and delivery.
- Aids in the design, implementation, and execution of large-scale learning projects and initiatives.
- Facilitates learning programs through workshops, presentations, and group discussions in-person and virtually.
- Tracks and analyzes learning program data to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Assists with administrative tasks related to learning programs, including scheduling, logistics coordination, learner communications, and materials preparation.
- Supports program assessment and evaluation using established methods to measure learner engagement and behavior change.
- Stays current with trends in learning and development and adult learning theory.
- Upholds and lead participation in Corporate Responsibility initiatives, including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
- This position has food safety responsibilities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred in Learning and Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in learning and development, training, or a related field; or 1-2 years of experience with an advanced degree
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
