About the role

  • Using engineering expertise to support the sales team
  • Developing presentations demonstrating the major features and benefits of Mills and its product range to customers
  • Use CADCAM and 3D modelling software to prepare simulations and time estimates
  • Program and set machines for customer demonstrations
  • Visit customer sites around the UK and Ireland to support regional Business Managers

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Fanuc Control Systems: Essential
  • In-depth knowledge of Heidenhain Control Systems: Strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Siemens Control Systems: Strongly preferred
  • Hands on experience of setting / operating and programming of multi axis machine tools: Essential
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling and CAM software systems: Essential
  • Robot automation experience: preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset, able to manage their own time and workload
  • A good level of IT literacy.
