About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain complex HR reports, dashboards, and visualizations using UKG and IBM Cognos Analytics
Analyze workforce, compensation, turnover, compliance, and operational HR data to identify trends and insights
Translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable, repeatable reporting solutions
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data across all reporting outputs
Develop executive-ready dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and UKG reporting tools
Apply data visualization best practices to present complex information clearly and effectively
Create visual narratives that enable HR Business Partners, HR leadership, and HRIS team members to understand reporting requirements and recommend analytical solutions
Standardize reporting layouts and visualization approaches where appropriate
Partner closely with HR Business Partners to understand reporting needs and analytical questions
Serve as a consultative resource for interpreting HR data and explaining insights to non-technical audiences
Collaborate with HRIS team members to align reporting outputs with system configuration and data structures
Act as a subject-matter expert for advanced UKG reporting and analytics capabilities
Support continuous improvement of HR reporting processes, documentation, and report inventories
Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR Reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
At least 5 years focused on HR analytics, reporting, or HRIS
Demonstrated hands-on experience developing complex reports in UKG
Strong experience using IBM Cognos Analytics for HR reporting
Proven experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Power BI
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human resource management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of HR data, metrics, and reporting concepts
Expertise in data visualization and analytical storytelling
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis techniques
Ability to work independently and manage complex reporting deliverables end-to-end
Experience working with global organizations or multi-region workforce data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
