  • Perform ultrasound examinations accurately and within established procedures and routines
  • Image, record, and process examination images

  • Check equipment and work areas for operational and safety compliance
  • Follow safety protocols to protect patients and equipment
  • Report potential patient safety issues in Athena
  • Optimize supplies, equipment, and services while controlling costs without compromising care
  • Ensure orders match diagnoses for proper reimbursement
  • Provide patient-centered, compassionate care and advocate for patients
  • Assist coworkers and act as a resource when appropriate
  • Participate in staff meetings and in-services
  • Promote professional development of self and others
  • Represent Millennium Physician Group professionally to the public

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must hold all certifications and licenses related to the scope of practice
  • Ability to work hours or shifts as needed in a PRN position
  • Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a pleasant disposition
  • Proficiency with PACS, eRad, Athena Clinicals, and Communicator
  • Ability to obtain detailed histories for every exam and present them to the radiologist
  • Ability to follow patient and equipment safety protocols
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Ability to read and respond to manager communications promptly
  • Knowledge of quality control records, ACR accreditation forms, and daily modality logs
  • Knowledge of occurrence reporting in Athena
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and radiologists
  • Ability to accurately verify physician orders and diagnoses
