About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and deliver presentations, executive workshops, and high-level training on AI governance for a diverse clientele (large enterprises, boards of directors, executive committees).
  • Take ownership of delivering existing programs (e.g., Responsible AI and AI governance training modules).
  • Design, structure, and update training content and educational materials on AI governance to ensure they remain at the forefront of trends and regulations.
  • Design and develop AI governance artifacts and tools targeted at executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Education team to evolve the workshop offerings and ensure strategic alignment with Mila's mission.
  • Lead the development and facilitation of the AI governance community of practice.
  • Build and orchestrate a dynamic annual calendar (target: 6 to 8 events per year).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Law, Ethics, Technology Management, Public Affairs, Data Science) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years' experience in consulting, project management, adult education (andragogy), or technology governance.
  • Strong knowledge of AI governance issues (ethics, bias, regulation, risk management).
  • Excellent spoken and written French and English (training is delivered in both languages).
  • Strong public speaking skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to executive audiences (boards, senior leadership).
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables autonomously in an agile, fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (researchers, project managers, corporate partners).
  • Excellent writing skills for producing policies and strategic reports.
