Key responsibilities & impact

Drive frontend improvements and proactively elevate UX and visual quality
Build and own complex full-stack features in the accounting platform
Own features end-to-end, including user flows, edge cases, error states, and architecture
Use Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI engineering tools as a primary development workflow
Adapt and extend the Python/FastAPI and Django backend, including CRUD-level changes and beyond
Contribute to code quality and architecture decisions in a small senior team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Professional experience in software development with a proven track record of owning and delivering complex projects
Expertise in React for high-quality, accessible, production-ready user interfaces
Sharp eye for design and pixel-perfect implementation of layouts and components
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot
Ability to independently navigate and extend a Python/FastAPI backend
Systems-thinking mindset for mapping full features, edge cases, and failure modes before coding
Fluency in English
German language knowledge is a welcome bonus, not required
Background in agentic AI systems or LLM-powered products is nice to have
Familiarity with B2B fintech, PostgreSQL, or German accounting standards such as DATEV is nice to have
