Deliver quick-turnaround content for platforms including Instagram Stories, TikTok, Reels, and LinkedIn.
Capture high-quality photos and video footage that align with the Middlebury brand tone and voice.
Edit video content for various platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro (training and support provided).
Assist in writing engaging captions and selecting platform-appropriate music and copy.
Collaborate in identifying upcoming events and campus moments worth covering.
Stay informed about student interests, trends, and community happenings.
Pitch creative ideas and series that reflect student life and resonate with peers.
Track social media trends and suggest ways to adapt them for Middlebury’s audience.
Requirements
Must have demonstrated skill with video shooting and editing, and photography.
Must be able to attend select campus events—occasionally on nights and weekends.
Comfortable shooting and editing high-quality video, and bring a solid understanding of Instagram, Tiktok, and LinkedIn.
Reliable and collaborative with an appreciation for deadline-driven work.
Able to edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro (training and support provided).
Must have active student status for the semester; students on leave or withdrawn are not eligible.
International students (non-resident aliens) may not work off campus unless they have applied for and received work authorization from the United States government.
Student are not eligible to work remotely from International locations.
Student employees are limited to working no more than 20 hours per week in on campus jobs during the academic year.
