About the role
- This is a position opening for a graduate research assistant to serve as Managing Editor of Case Studies in International Education (CSIEpub.org). Responsibilities include communicating with authors, managing the back end of the publication process, promoting the publication on LinkedIn, and with Dr. Punteney and the Content Editor, review and edit the case studies prior to publication. Core responsibilities: Serve as managing editor working alongside Katherine Punteney; Approximately 5 hours/week through the fall semester, with up to 10 hours/week November 7th-December 1st 2025; Position will continue in spring 2026 pending funding.

Essential Functions: The GRAs will be responsible for identifying recent sources (books, articles, and reports, etc. for inclusion in the textbook. The GRAs will read and take notes on key points from those sources for Dr. Punteney to reference when writing the second edition of the textbook. The graduate research assistants will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the international education field and learn how to use Zotero citation management software and other tools.
