About the role

  • Varied and challenging tasks across the entire software development lifecycle
  • Independently coordinate requirement specifications with clients and internal departments
  • Further development of platforms for resource provisioning and permission management in Artifactory (Python / Flask)
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure error-free production
  • Maintain, optimize, and design software architectures using Kubernetes / Helm in an AWS context
  • End-to-end responsibilities from local development through cloud deployment and monitoring
  • Automate deployment processes with GitLab CI following Infrastructure-as-Code principles and reproducible builds
  • Maintain and develop core components using the Amazon Cloud Development Kit (CDK)

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) computer science or a related field with an IT/informatics focus
  • Several years of professional experience in a DevOps environment
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Python or backend development in a comparable language
  • Several years of expertise in REST API design, OpenAPI specifications, and authentication protocols such as OAuth2 or SAML
  • Deep understanding of service-to-service architectures, including high availability and scalability requirements
  • Experience with AWS Cloud and Kubernetes / Helm
  • Business-fluent German; English skills are an advantage
