Provide strategic leadership across commercial and technology transactions
Manage a team of attorneys supporting transactions, AI use and governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and supply chain initiatives
Partner closely with senior leaders, business units, and support functions to drive deal closure, manage risk, and support Microchip’s global operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
Admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state
15+ years of relevant law firm and/or in-house legal experience
Significant experience in technology or commercial transactions and related compliance matters
Experience supporting global technology companies with both commercial and regulated industries
Demonstrated experience leading or managing attorneys or cross-functional legal teams
Strong background advising on complex technology agreements
Proven ability to provide clear, pragmatic, and business-oriented guidance on complex issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong judgment, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional, collaborative, and experienced partnering with senior leadership and influencing outcomes.
