About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be part of a multi-disciplinary team that designs, develops, assembles, tests and commissions novel process equipment for microencapsulation processes.
- Lead or support process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including both internal and external experts to achieve project objectives.
- Perform testing, validation and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues and challenges.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong technical background with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering or related field or higher.
- Apprentice background also welcome.
- 2+ years background in process engineering (apprentices highly encouraged), preferably in the food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong technical expertise in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting, with knowledge of relevant engineering principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g. MATLAB, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to manufacturing processes (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Project Management experience.
- Team player and excited to work in a rapidly growing process technology company.
- Work permit in Switzerland.
- You are intrinsically motivated to design technical solutions for challenging chemical process problems and have a track record of doing so.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English; German is an asset.
