About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Be part of a multi-disciplinary team that designs, develops, assembles, tests and commissions novel process equipment for microencapsulation processes.
Lead or support process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross functional teams including both internal and external experts to achieve project objectives.
Perform testing, validation and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues and challenges.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong technical background with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering or related field or higher.
Apprentice background also welcome.
2+ years background in process engineering (apprentices highly encouraged), preferably in the food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Strong technical expertise in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting, with knowledge of relevant engineering principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g. MATLAB, or similar tools).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to manufacturing processes (e.g., FDA, ISO).
Project Management experience.
Team player and excited to work in a rapidly growing process technology company.
Work permit in Switzerland.
You are intrinsically motivated to design technical solutions for challenging chemical process problems and have a track record of doing so.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent English; German is an asset.
