About the role

  • Assist attorneys with their cases
  • Participate in office-wide projects and client services
  • Handle some cases on their own as a DOJ-accredited representative
  • Resubmit DOJ-accreditation applications if applicable

Requirements

  • An associate’s degree or commensurate professional experience is required
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • High level of Spanish proficiency
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with major software and web services including Word, Excel, G Suite
  • Access to a reliable internet connection for remote work
  • Experience related to immigration and poverty preferred
  • Prior experience with immigration law preferred
  • Relevant lived experience encouraged
