About the role
- Assist attorneys with their cases
- Participate in office-wide projects and client services
- Handle some cases on their own as a DOJ-accredited representative
- Resubmit DOJ-accreditation applications if applicable
Requirements
- An associate’s degree or commensurate professional experience is required
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- High level of Spanish proficiency
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient with major software and web services including Word, Excel, G Suite
- Access to a reliable internet connection for remote work
- Experience related to immigration and poverty preferred
- Prior experience with immigration law preferred
- Relevant lived experience encouraged
