Key responsibilities & impact

Serves as an assistant to the VP, Internal Audit
Leads advanced level professional internal auditing work
Directs a comprehensive audit program including performance, financial, and compliance audit projects
Provides consulting services to management and staff
Provides ongoing training, coaching and supervision to internal audit management and staff
Maintains organizational and professional ethical standards
Works independently with extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgement
Directs audit staff in planning, organizing, directing and monitoring internal audit operations
Assists in the identification and evaluation of risk areas
Oversees annual enterprise‐wide risk assessment and audit plan
Communicates audit results via written reports and oral presentations to management
Develops and maintains productive client, staff, and management relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
Eight or more years of progressive professional experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation
At least four years in a supervisory or project management capacity
Strong expertise in internal auditing and accounting principles
Solid understanding of management practices and effective business operations
Ability to lead teams and oversee complex reviews or projects
Apply analytical and risk-based thinking
Gaming industry knowledge is essential
Understanding of regulatory environments, compliance standards, and operational controls
