Contract Vegetation Program Manager – PG&E Distribution
MGEContract Vegetation Program Manager with PG&E providing oversight in vegetation management. Responsible for supervising tree pruning and supporting operations in the Bay Area.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide supervisory oversight and expert guidance in line clearance tree pruning and vegetation management
- Assist with difficult customers at the direction of the Program Manager
- Clarify expectations and program direction for contractor employees
- Monitor the progress and status of pre-inspection and tree work completion
- Assist in management of projects – routine and non-routine
Requirements
What you’ll need- At a minimum, a CVPM shall have a two-year degree in forestry or a related field
- Two (2) years’ experience in line clearance tree pruning work
- Familiarity with the Contractor's work practices
- Knowledge of proper arboricultural techniques and practices
- Understanding of proper integrated pest management practices
- Familiarity with PG&E's Tree Pruning Specification 5404 and Pre-Inspection Specification 4851
