About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operational purchasing of goods and services, including requirements analysis, supplier selection and price inquiries
- Obtaining and evaluating offers, and negotiating prices, terms and delivery times
- Order processing and placement, as well as monitoring deadlines, quality and supplier delivery performance (SCEM)
- Tracking and ensuring material availability and proactively resolving discrepancies
- Complaint management and close collaboration with Quality Assurance, Production and Sales
- Contributing to procurement strategy and optimization projects (e.g., supplier development, cost analysis, process improvements)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial training or a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
- Some professional experience in purchasing desirable — ideally in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Confident user of MS Office; ERP experience advantageous
- Confident negotiator with strong communication skills in German and English
- Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
- Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with on-site colleagues
