About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operational purchasing of goods and services, including requirements analysis, supplier selection and price inquiries
  • Obtaining and evaluating offers, and negotiating prices, terms and delivery times
  • Order processing and placement, as well as monitoring deadlines, quality and supplier delivery performance (SCEM)
  • Tracking and ensuring material availability and proactively resolving discrepancies
  • Complaint management and close collaboration with Quality Assurance, Production and Sales
  • Contributing to procurement strategy and optimization projects (e.g., supplier development, cost analysis, process improvements)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial training or a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
  • Some professional experience in purchasing desirable — ideally in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Confident user of MS Office; ERP experience advantageous
  • Confident negotiator with strong communication skills in German and English
  • Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
  • Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with on-site colleagues
