About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operational purchasing of goods and services, including requirement assessment, supplier selection and price enquiries
  • Requesting, evaluating and negotiating quotations, prices, terms and delivery dates
  • Order processing, issuing purchase orders and monitoring deadlines, quality and delivery performance (SCEM)
  • Tracking and ensuring material availability and proactively resolving deviations
  • Complaint management and close cooperation with Quality Assurance, Production and Sales
  • Participation in strategic and optimization projects in purchasing (e.g., supplier development, cost analysis, process improvements)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial training or degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
  • Initial professional experience in purchasing desirable — ideally in an industrial environment
  • Confident user of MS Office; ERP knowledge is an advantage
  • Confident, negotiation-ready presence and strong communication skills in German and English
  • Structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working
  • Team player and enjoyment of collaboration with colleagues on site
