About the role

  • Operational procurement of goods and services, including requirements planning, supplier selection and price inquiries
  • Requesting and evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices, terms and delivery times
  • Order processing and order placement, as well as monitoring schedules, quality and delivery performance (SCEM)
  • Tracking and ensuring material availability and proactively resolving discrepancies
  • Complaint management and close cooperation with Quality Assurance, Production and Sales
  • Participation in strategic and optimization projects in purchasing (e.g., supplier development, cost analysis, process improvements)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
  • Initial professional experience in purchasing desirable—ideally in an industrial environment
  • Proficient in MS Office; ERP experience is an advantage
  • Confident negotiation skills and strong communication abilities in German and English
  • Structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working
  • Team player with enthusiasm for collaborating with on-site colleagues
