About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ownership of LLM-based features end-to-end — from prompt design to user-facing output
Rapidly turn ideas into working prototypes and drive them to production readiness
Build and iterate product-facing features across the full stack
Work on the multi-LLM pipeline and make decisions about model selection, cost, and latency
Build evaluation loops against real outputs, define baselines, and demonstrate measurable improvements
Ensure traceability of LLM systems through per-step tracing and prompt provenance
Design human-in-the-loop agent workflows where humans make the final decisions
Rapidly prototype, harden solutions, and deploy your work to production including configuration, feature flags, and scheduled jobs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrable product sense and a fast pace
Deliver working solutions and make pragmatic trade-offs
Comfortable working AI-natively day-to-day, using Claude and Cursor as part of your regular workflow
Practical experience with LLM orchestration, including function calling, agents, and evaluation
Experience tracing LLM behavior in production and having identified a real bug
Able to explain when a deterministic pipeline is preferable to an agent
Willingness to take responsibility for deploying your own work
Fluent German
