Senior Mechanical Engineer – Fossil, Hydro

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with mechanical engineering team to deliver projects of varying complexity
- Perform as lead Responsible Engineer on a variety of projects
- Perform tasks related to high energy piping, including stress analysis and root cause analysis
- Develop design models using AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, Revit
- Review drawing packages and prepare P&IDs, equipment layout, piping plans
- Perform walkdowns and collect field information
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSME and PE license (TN, GA, AL preferred)
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in piping and plant design
- Pipe stress analysis experience using AutoPipe or Caesar pipe stress software
- SME knowledge of pumps, valves, and heat exchangers
- Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards including ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, NFPA, ANSI and API
