About the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of coding experience required
  • Previous experience with claims, payment posting, denials, appeals, and coding
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers’ Compensation insurance billing guidelines
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills by phone or in person
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be able to work full days from home without interruptions
  • Must be located within a two-hour drive from Shepherdsville, Kentucky
  • Constant ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer
  • Constant use of hands for typing
  • Ability to speak by phone for at least 50% of the day
  • Certificate in Coding preferred
