About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define task-specific grading criteria for real-world digital product and UX deliverables
Evaluate design systems and component libraries, responsive UI layouts and dashboards, end-to-end product flows, customer portals, UX writing/product content, and design-to-engineering handoff
Score AI-generated and human work samples against the criteria
Provide detailed written justifications for every score
Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment so scores are reproducible and defensible
Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers
Iterate quickly on evaluation work
Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience in product design, UI/UX, or design systems for real digital products
Experience with real digital products, excluding brand or marketing sites
Background at leading digital-product and UX studios, in-house product-design teams at major product-led companies, or sophisticated e-commerce and marketplace companies
Experience in one or more tracks: Product/UI/Design Systems Designer, UX Lead, UX Writer/Content Designer, or digital Product/Business Analyst
Fluency in interaction and visual design, design systems, responsive layouts, end-to-end product flows, prototyping, and production handoff in Figma
Ability to articulate critique as a design or UX lead would in a review
Exceptionally strong written communication
Detail-oriented, consistent, and comfortable having judgment reviewed and calibrated against peers
Prior AI training, evaluation, or human-data project experience is a strong plus
Independent contractor engagement
Must not be an H1-B or STEM OPT candidate
