About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality
Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics
Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
Evaluate generative music AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab
Complete the Bilingual Competency Interview in Hebrew and follow onboarding steps
Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew
Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition (nice to have)
Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work (nice to have)
Broad familiarity with contemporary Hebrew genres, sub-genres, and artists (nice to have)
Ability to complete the Bilingual Competency Interview in Hebrew
Must not be an H-1B or STEM OPT candidate, as Mercor cannot support these candidates
