About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, assess, and moderate Arabic-language content across social media platforms for compliance with community guidelines, platform policies, and regional regulatory standards
- Identify and evaluate harmful, misleading, or policy-violating content, including misinformation, hate speech, graphic material, and fraud
- Investigate reported user accounts, posts, and digital interactions using trust and safety frameworks
- Collaborate with policy, legal, and product teams to escalate complex or high-risk cases
- Maintain records of content decisions, case outcomes, and escalation patterns
- Monitor emerging trends, regional events, and cultural contexts in Arabic-speaking communities
- Contribute culturally informed insights to trust and safety policy refinement
- Meet and exceed accuracy, productivity, and quality benchmarks for content review
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native or fluent Arabic proficiency, spoken and written
- Valid EU passport mandatory for eligibility to work on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria
- Genuine interest in digital safety, online trust frameworks, or content moderation strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of English, written and verbal
- Prior experience in trust and safety, content review, customer support, or related social media/digital platform work is a significant advantage
- Professionalism, resilience, and ability to handle sensitive or distressing content according to platform policies and well-being protocols
