About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development and execution of MM’s Salesforce CRM marketing strategy aligned with firm growth and client engagement goals
  • Serve as primary owner of CRM platform(s), ensuring data integrity, usability, and alignment with business needs
  • Collaborate with firm leadership, aligning business objectives with CRM workflows, segmentation strategies, and campaign architecture
  • Work with leadership to plan and build multi-channel campaigns within Salesforce (e.g., email, newsletters, targeted outreach)
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies to deliver relevant, tailored messaging to key client segments
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to execute the campaign lifecycle, including briefing, copy development, deployment, and optimization
  • Support business development efforts through targeted CRM-enabled outreach and cultivating campaigns
  • Map and optimize client and prospect journeys across touchpoints
  • Work with leadership to identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion through personalized communication strategies
  • Partner with client service teams to align outreach with potential client needs and the cultivation stage
  • Monitor and report on Salesforce and campaign performance (e.g., engagement rates, conversion, retention)
  • Use CRM data to generate actionable insights and continuously improve marketing effectiveness
  • Partner with leadership to support pipeline development and strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate with external vendors or consultants as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in CRM marketing, digital marketing, or marketing operations
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM platform such as HubSpot or Marketo)
  • Familiarity with CRM-driven business development or client lifecycle marketing
  • Working knowledge of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and personalization
  • Demonstrated experience building and executing data-driven marketing campaigns
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling, and audience-specific messaging for email campaigns, client communications, and marketing materials
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or government relations environments is preferred
  • Basic proficiency in HTML, Excel, or reporting tools is a plus
