About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Successfully manage multiple capital projects ($15MM–$150MM+) across full lifecycle (P0–P6)
Develop and maintain detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
Lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, maintenance, operations, finance, safety, and construction
Foster alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners; ensure all parties are aligned on project requirements, scope, and deliverables
Drive FEL development and execution readiness (P0-P3)
Ensure alignment with mill and business leadership
Facilitate project reviews, status reporting, executive updates, and stakeholder communications
Oversee detailed design, contractor coordination, outage execution, and startup (P4-P6)
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Manage and control objective and scope changes
Deliver projects that meet business case and performance expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related)
10+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 6 years specifically on capital equipment or major construction/capital projects.
Experience managing projects over $15million
Experience leading cross-functional engineering and construction teams
Strong knowledge of project management practices within a phase gate process
Ability to travel at least 80% to support project development, execution, outages, startups, and mill engagement
