About the role

  • Ensure that the proprietary MS-SQL based enterprise business solution developed by Medlogix is supported to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor logs for alerts, errors and aging workflows that require analysis and resolution
  • Monitor automated processes including data imports and exports
  • Monitor user incident reports for prioritization and resolution
  • Troubleshoot issues from logs and user incident reports
  • Define, develop, and provide application problem analysis and resolution services for complex application problems in conjunction with the users
  • Provide suggestions for system and business improvements
  • Collaborate with PMO and business leads to manage application configuration based on the evolving needs of clients
  • Manage new client configurations via interfaces and scripting as required
  • Manage existing interfaces and design new application support interfaces
  • Import new data sets based on subscriptions with external partners/vendors
  • Document workflows and produce process flow diagrams to aid future troubleshooting and development
  • Support procedures and knowledgebase to aid future troubleshooting and development

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • T-SQL skills
  • Office 365 skills including SharePoint and Visio
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to read and understand C#, JavaScript and/or PowerShell preferred
  • Understanding of change and release management preferred
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Knowledge of T-SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment and discuss issues and solutions
  • Ability to identify data patterns or issues and problem solve with developers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience or certifications
  • 2+ Years Application Support experience
  • Experience analyzing data with SQL
  • Experience working with C#, or similar OOP language, JavaScript preferred but not required
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or Service Now preferred
