About the role
- Ensure that the proprietary MS-SQL based enterprise business solution developed by Medlogix is supported to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency
- Monitor logs for alerts, errors and aging workflows that require analysis and resolution
- Monitor automated processes including data imports and exports
- Monitor user incident reports for prioritization and resolution
- Troubleshoot issues from logs and user incident reports
- Define, develop, and provide application problem analysis and resolution services for complex application problems in conjunction with the users
- Provide suggestions for system and business improvements
- Collaborate with PMO and business leads to manage application configuration based on the evolving needs of clients
- Manage new client configurations via interfaces and scripting as required
- Manage existing interfaces and design new application support interfaces
- Import new data sets based on subscriptions with external partners/vendors
- Document workflows and produce process flow diagrams to aid future troubleshooting and development
- Support procedures and knowledgebase to aid future troubleshooting and development
Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- T-SQL skills
- Office 365 skills including SharePoint and Visio
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to read and understand C#, JavaScript and/or PowerShell preferred
- Understanding of change and release management preferred
- Ability to solve complex technical problems
- Knowledge of T-SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment and discuss issues and solutions
- Ability to identify data patterns or issues and problem solve with developers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience or certifications
- 2+ Years Application Support experience
- Experience analyzing data with SQL
- Experience working with C#, or similar OOP language, JavaScript preferred but not required
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or Service Now preferred
