About the role
- Join a small, collaborative team of ICU consultants providing care to a diverse patient population
- Manage around 650 adult and 50 paediatric ICU admissions annually, with approximately 95% emergency cases
- Provide care for complex, high-acuity cases rarely seen elsewhere in Australia
- Participate in service development, quality improvement, and education initiatives
- Build research collaborations with leading Australian universities and institutes
- Perform on-call and after-hours clinical duties
Requirements
- Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) or equivalent
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA
- Paediatric ICU experience desirable but not essential
- Strong interest in education, quality improvement, and service development
- Experience as an Intensive Care Specialist
