About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor data pipelines, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Power BI data flows
Promptly resolve issues affecting system and pipeline performance
Write and troubleshoot SQL queries
Maintain reference tables and data mappings
Support HIPAA-aligned data handling practices
Validate records, reconcile data across systems, and delete duplicate files
Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into user stories for the development team
Lead data analysis and requirements writing for new reports and dashboards
Coordinate QA testing and validation
Draft PRDs, technical specifications, and structured backlogs
Implement new IT tools and decommission legacy systems
Train end users on reporting tools
Maintain system performance and help development teams resolve issues and fulfill enhancement requests
Track project timelines, action items, and deliverables
Maintain SOPs and training materials
Assist with status reports, meeting summaries, and executive updates
Prioritize projects according to CIO direction
Catch and resolve pipeline issues before they affect downstream reporting or leadership visibility
Ensure reports follow a tracked intake-to-delivery process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Healthcare industry experience
Experience with and strong knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy/security practices
Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate
Demonstrated ability to manage numerous concurrent projects and stakeholder relationships
Effective written communication skills for producing technical documents and executive-level summaries
Experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute care, or ACO environment would be beneficial but is not required
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, API integration, and/or AI-assisted data analysis/workflow automation tools is preferred
Experience managing claims data or using Jira or Confluence would be a plus
