About the role
- Plan and coordinate surgical appointments in consultation with the involved departments
- Organize and oversee the pre-admission process (including patient communication and appointment management)
- Manage and optimize treatment and clinical workflows within a patient-centered case management approach
- Work closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure high-quality documentation
- Correspond with patients, referring physicians, and internal stakeholders
- Willingness to perform case-related coding and support documentation audits
Requirements
- Completed training in the healthcare field, e.g., Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Assistant (MFA), Healthcare Management Specialist or equivalent
- Ideally experience in case management, OR scheduling/planning, or patient coordination
- Experience with hospital information systems (HIS) and billing systems desirable
- Structured, independent and service-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Willingness to be trained in medical coding
