About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contracts review, approval, and negotiations (e.g., service agreements, employment contracts, licenses, marketing/advertising agreements, NDAs, etc.) across all of MD Finance jurisdictions.
- Drafting of legal documents, including website terms and conditions, privacy and cookie policies, corporate documents, etc.
- Development and implementation of internal policies, including data protection documentation.
- Supporting day-to-day legal activities and operations of the company.
- Working closely with Heads of all company departments and Country Managers by providing legal support to cover specific business needs of the department or business Units in other countries.
- Implementing legal compliance and making sure all companies are following and up to date with State Regulators and Authorities' requirements in the various areas of business operations (data protection, marketing, payments, GDPR, AML).
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of legal experience with an international IT / FinTech company, digital advertising agency, or leading law firm (IP / IT department).
- Solid knowledge of IP / IT law, European data protection, compliance regulations, civil and labor law, law of international treaties, banking and finance legal requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under pressure.
- Strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve legal risks.
- Experience in handling diverse legal issues across jurisdictions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
- Proficient in English for legal drafting and communication with English-speaking colleagues and partners.
- Good research skills in local fintech, regulatory, and tax laws.
- Understanding of GDPR, AML, Compliance, and Intellectual Property laws (preferred).
- Experience with EU-based regulators and state authorities (preferred).
