About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) support for MD&A Customer projects.
Complete safety walk-downs or evaluations at other outages or shops.
Assist with training and other safety projects company-wide.
Facilitate proper implementation of customer requirements, MD&A Outage Safety Expectations, and the project specific safety plan.
Coordinate and communicate with customer EHS representation and customer site POC.
Observe the progression of the project, identify and eliminate hazards.
Assist with on-boarding project personnel including sub-contractors; facilitate MD&A/Customer drug testing requirements.
Administer/conduct and record weekly safety evaluation.
Investigate all incident reports and treat and report any first aids.
Monitor and authorize confined space entries.
Conduct safety training for employees when needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in construction safety.
CHST or the ability to obtain the CHST in the first 90 days of employment.
Knowledge of complicated rigging, scaffolding, confined space entry, mechanical systems, and industrial tooling.
Prefer exposure too or knowledge of Human and Organization Performance improvement.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
