About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work independently under the direction of the Executive Director/Director
  • Provide direction and guidance to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program’s goals.
  • Maintain reimbursement timeline, including tracking deadlines for deliverables.
  • Develop and manage budget.
  • Schedule people and material resources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional resources.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of claims data.
  • Coordinate and create development of materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive databases and files related to the program.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
  • Create and oversee training for Billing, Collections, and Reimbursement employees.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Coordinate and manage activities, including acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure reimbursement data and progress are reported to stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum Required Experience: 8 years experience in multi-payer physician reimbursement with equivalent size scope.
  • 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.
  • Advanced knowledge of the program study area.
