About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and administer occupational therapy program to facilitate rehabilitation to patients who have experienced a hand or upper extremity injury, trauma, disease related condition or surgical intervention.
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop a treatment plan that integrates input from team members, patients and family.
Perform therapy in accordance with the treatment plan and evaluate results.
Accurately, promptly and thoroughly document patient’s care observations, interventions and evaluations.
Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
Maintain therapy equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
Collaborate with Physicians during patients 1:1 appointment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Required Experience: No experience required
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy
Preferred Experience: 1 or more years of experience with hand rehabilitation
Required Certification /Licensure: Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational
