About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and administer occupational therapy program to facilitate rehabilitation to patients who have experienced a hand or upper extremity injury, trauma, disease related condition or surgical intervention.
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop a treatment plan that integrates input from team members, patients and family.
  • Perform therapy in accordance with the treatment plan and evaluate results.
  • Accurately, promptly and thoroughly document patient’s care observations, interventions and evaluations.
  • Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
  • Maintain therapy equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
  • Collaborate with Physicians during patients 1:1 appointment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Required Experience: No experience required
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy
  • Preferred Experience: 1 or more years of experience with hand rehabilitation
  • Required Certification /Licensure: Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational
