About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead business development efforts across federal agencies, with a focus on DoD, VA, and other mission-critical clients.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities through market research, client engagement, and strategic networking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contracting officers, program managers, and decision-makers within federal agencies.
  • Collaborate with MCFA’s technical teams to shape proposals and solutions that align with client needs.
  • Track performance metrics, pipeline development, and win rates—using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent MCFA at industry events, conferences, and federal procurement forums.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in federal business development, sales, or capture management.
  • Familiarity with federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules, IDIQs, and RFPs.
  • Strong understanding of the AEC industry and federal infrastructure programs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, writing and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated capability of the Sales and Capture Management process.
