About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor federal agency websites and other authoritative sources for new and emerging laws, regulations, policies, and guidance that may impact agency operations
Analyze regulatory changes and communicate potential impacts to executive leadership through reports, briefings, dashboards, and status updates
Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to track implementation progress, action items, and compliance status
Maintain documentation supporting regulatory analyses, implementation activities, and program decisions
Collaborate with legal counsel, program offices, and other stakeholders to interpret federal regulatory requirements and determine organizational applicability
Provide strategic recommendations to support regulatory compliance, governance, and operational effectiveness
Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations for senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in public policy, Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Law, or a related field
10+ years IT experience or relevant industry experience
5+ years of experience supporting federal regulatory compliance, policy analysis, governance, or program management
Experience interpreting and implementing federal laws, regulations, executive orders, OMB guidance, and agency directives
Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills with experience preparing executive-level reports and briefings
Ability to collaborate effectively with legal, technical, and business stakeholders in a federal environment
Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide solutions and recommendations to comply with federal regulations
Experience developing dashboards, tracking regulatory actions, and supporting governance or compliance initiatives is preferred
Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance
