About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and configure Oracle CPQ functionality
  • Build and maintain product configurators, business rules, workflows, pricing logic, approval processes, and supporting functionality
  • Develop and support Oracle CPQ customizations using BML, BMQL, data tables, configuration rules, commerce processes, and related technologies
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Oracle CPQ
  • Troubleshoot complex application, configuration, integration, and data-related issues
  • Investigate root causes and implement long-term solutions
  • Provide ongoing platform support to users and business teams
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ and enterprise systems
  • Work with REST and SOAP APIs to support data exchange and connectivity
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and integration initiatives
  • Participate in design, testing, validation, and deployment of functionality and enhancements
  • Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders before releases
  • Support testing for updates, enhancements, and new product launches
  • Create and maintain technical, configuration, and business process documentation
  • Identify and implement improvements to performance, reliability, maintainability, user experience, and operational efficiency
  • Stay current on Oracle CPQ capabilities, best practices, and emerging technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex product configurators and business rules
  • Strong experience with BML, BMQL, XSL, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with configuration rules, commerce processes, data tables, File Manager, Catalog Definition, Process Definition, and approval workflows
  • Experience developing documents, emails, and reports
  • Experience working with the CPQ Homepage
  • Experience with CPQ Administration, including Configuration Settings, Quote Settings, Integration Settings, and General Site Settings
  • Experience with Report Manager
  • Experience building and supporting REST and SOAP API integrations
  • Experience with CPQ-CX integration and data flows
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Oracle CPQ certification, OIC, FDI, Oracle Fusion CX, ERP/CRM/eCommerce, direct-to-consumer, retail, manufacturing, product-based businesses, large-scale CPQ implementations, and Agile experience are beneficial but not required
