About the role
- Lead all retail commercialization projects from concept through launch, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, and launch dates.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines with clear milestones and interdependencies across functions.
- Facilitate weekly cross-functional project reviews to confirm readiness, remove obstacles, and maintain accountability.
- Collaborate with R&D to track product development and trial progress; with Sales and Category Management to ensure customer and market requirements are met; and with Operations to confirm production and packaging readiness.
- Maintain commercialization documentation—including item setup, specifications, artwork, and packaging accuracy—ensuring all components are approved prior to launch.
- Provide executive-level visibility into project status, OTIF performance, and risk mitigation plans through dashboards and project tracking tools.
- Identify and escalate risks early, driving proactive course-correction to protect launch timelines.
- Lead post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend process enhancements for future projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business , Marketing, or Project Management (MBA a plus )
- 5+ years of project management experience in CPG, food manufacturing, or related industry.
- Demonstrated success leading commercialization projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project).
- Expertise with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint) for collaboration and reporting.
- Experience building and maintaining OTIF tracking and commercialization dashboards (Power BI or similar).
- PMP certification or formal project management training preferred.
