About the role
- Lead the full lifecycle of medical equipment planning across healthcare projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Guide projects from early concept development and cost estimating through budget oversight, procurement coordination, and alignment with clinical operations.
- Serve as a primary project leader, managing schedules and ensuring precision in detailed equipment documentation.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and project partners throughout the process.
- Collaborate closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Vendors, and Clinicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Architecture, Engineering, Healthcare Technology, or similar) or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with architects, engineers, and multi-disciplinary teams on hospital or healthcare facility projects.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support project needs, site assessments, and client engagements.
- Strong knowledge of major medical equipment modalities and clinical environments, including Imaging, Surgery, Emergency Departments, and ICU/CCU space planning.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining medical equipment lists, department inventories, and cost estimates within database or planning software tools.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a wide range of audiences.
