About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and comprehensive behavioral evaluations.
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Design and oversee ABA treatment programs based on evidence-based practices.
- Analyze behavioral data and modify interventions based on client progress.
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in accordance with BACB guidelines.
- Provide parent and caregiver coaching to support treatment goals across environments.
- Collaborate with physicians, schools, therapists, case managers, and community partners.
- Complete timely clinical documentation and maintain compliance with payer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with BACB Ethics Code and Illinois regulations.
- Participate in program development initiatives to support Maze of Life's Illinois ABA expansion.
- Assist with quality improvement efforts and best practices for clinical service delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current Illinois BCBA licensure (or eligibility before employment).
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and clinical leadership abilities.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel throughout Will and DuPage Counties.
- Preferred Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities.
- Experience providing home-based, school-based, clinic-based, and community ABA services.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance authorization and documentation requirements.
