About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Models-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products
- provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design and test issues
- perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification
- analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- 4+ years of experience working on large-scale systems engineering, integration, and development programs
- 2+ years of experience with performing and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectural designs, and integration and test plans
- Experience leading requirements and interface management efforts for a major program
- Experience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering review
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWS
- Experience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Experience creating and managing Jira tickets and Confluence pages
- Experience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS NextGen
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
