- Support Elasticsearch data ingestion, indexing, and search optimization activities.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and mission stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Assist with log analysis, troubleshooting, and operational reporting.
- Document automation processes, procedures, and technical configurations.
- Participate in system testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to monitoring, observability, and automation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Security+ Certification
- 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering, automation, DevOps, software development or related technical roles
- Experience working with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar)
- Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system administration tasks
- Experience with the ELK Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana dashboard development
- Familiarity with system monitoring, log aggregation, and operational analytics
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
