About the role

  • Support account managers in managing day-to-day activities across a subset of MATTER’s partners.
  • Assist in maintaining strong, positive partner relationships by helping prepare materials, agendas, follow-ups and documentation.
  • Coordinate partner-facing communication and ensure timely responses.
  • Support planning and execution of innovation programs, including accelerators, challenges, workshops and startup sourcing efforts.
  • Assist with scheduling, logistics, workflow coordination, meeting prep and project tracking.
  • Help ensure timelines, deliverables and milestones are met and communicated clearly.
  • Assist with outreach, screening and preparation of startups participating in MATTER programs.
  • Coordinate with the Partnerships team to manage communications and materials for participating startups.
  • Work cross-functionally with MATTER’s venture acceleration, marketing, events and operations teams to support program delivery and partner success.
  • Help prepare presentations, update project documents and support storytelling materials for program activities.
  • Maintain organized project files, trackers and documentation.
  • Support data entry, CRM updates and internal reporting.
  • Assist in general team coordination, task prioritization and operational workflows.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in healthcare, innovation, startups, consulting, program management or a related field.
  • Strong interest in healthcare innovation and the commercialization journey of startups.
  • Excellent organization, communication and task-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, “scrappy,” collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities and supporting several concurrent projects.
  • Strong writing, slide-building and presentation support capabilities.
  • Prior experience supporting programs, events, or innovation initiatives is a plus.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
