About the role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, door-to-door sales, networking, and referrals
- Conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to assess their insurance needs
- Present and sell a variety of personal and commercial insurance products (auto, home, life, etc.)
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain long-term client relationships
- Stay up to date on industry trends and carrier products
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
Requirements
- Previous sales experience preferred, especially in insurance, financial services, or similar industries
- Active Property & Casualty (and/or Life & Health) insurance license, or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and competitive mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Comfortable with technology, CRM systems, and mobile tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
