About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads procurement planning by assessing departmental needs, defining requirements, and maintaining tools and schedules that ensure continuity of goods and services.
- Manages fair and compliant solicitations by developing RFP/RFQ materials, facilitating evaluation processes, and overseeing vendor selection and award decisions.
- Administers contracts and service agreements by coordinating with Legal, processing updates in procurement systems, and monitoring active agreements for timely execution and payments.
- Engages stakeholders and vendors, analyzes procurement data, and recommends improvements that increase efficiency, transparency, and value across procurement operations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience with demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret RFP responses and perform data analysis.
- Knowledge of e‑procurement practices, with preferred exposure to supplier diversity initiatives, sustainability and NetZero practices, and procurement of EV fleet equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement or accounting systems such as Oracle Fusion or PeopleSoft; professional purchasing certifications are preferred, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
