About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, internalize, and deliver a rigorous, standards-aligned scripted curriculum
- Use scholar work and assessment data to inform instruction and target intervention
- Engage in weekly coaching meetings to deepen content expertise and develop instructional mastery
- Uphold East End Prep’s core values at all times
- Own arrival duty, recess or lunch duty (as assigned), and dismissal duty
- Attend parent-teacher conferences, Kick Off Night, and other school-wide events
- Engage in ongoing professional development programming, including summer training and PD sessions throughout the year
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates applying for a lead teaching role must have an active Tennessee teaching license
- Candidates without a teaching license can serve as Instructional Support during the current school year and must be willing to pursue teacher licensure starting the 2027-2028 school year.
- Have a proven track record of high achievement in the classroom
