About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Acting as lead trial counsel in civil jury and bench trials
Handling New Hampshire court appearances, hearings, and trials independently
Managing cases from inception through verdict or settlement
Conducting voir dire, openings, witness examinations, and closings
Preparing and arguing dispositive, evidentiary, and trial-related motions
Preparing witnesses, managing exhibits, and trial presentation
Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Working collaboratively with firm attorneys and staff while maintaining an independent caseload

Requirements

What you’ll need

JD from an accredited law school
Active New Hampshire law license
At least five years of litigation experience
Clear, demonstrable first-chair civil trial experience
Strong courtroom presence and command of trial procedure
Ability to travel throughout Central and Northern New Hampshire
Strong writing, organizational, and advocacy skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote structure
