About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
Validate new features before release and verify bug fixes.
Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release testing.
Ensure applications meet quality, usability, and performance expectations.
Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards.
Support the implementation and maintenance of automated testing where applicable.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
