About the role
- Marquette Associates provides investment consulting services focused on fiduciary client service and creative, critical thinking to meet client goals.
- The HR Coordinator will support the Director of HR in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, compensation, and learning & development.
- Champion the firm’s HRIS and electronic files; ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system to support full-cycle talent acquisition, primarily sourcing intern and entry-level candidates.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, conduct orientation, and coordinate training programs.
- Assist in preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll and support the performance review process.
- Administer employee engagement programs and participate in firmwide and HR initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1 – 2 years of experience in an entry-level human resources role, preferably in a professional services environment
- High level of integrity with the ability to maintain complete confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience with an HRIS and employee record-keeping, ability to quickly learn new systems
- Dedication to quality and continuous improvement
- Prior experience assisting with payroll preferred
- Prior experience developing in-house training programs a plus
