About the role

  • Marquette Associates provides investment consulting services focused on fiduciary client service and creative, critical thinking to meet client goals.
  • The HR Coordinator will support the Director of HR in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, compensation, and learning & development.
  • Champion the firm’s HRIS and electronic files; ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to support full-cycle talent acquisition, primarily sourcing intern and entry-level candidates.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, conduct orientation, and coordinate training programs.
  • Assist in preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll and support the performance review process.
  • Administer employee engagement programs and participate in firmwide and HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in an entry-level human resources role, preferably in a professional services environment
  • High level of integrity with the ability to maintain complete confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience with an HRIS and employee record-keeping, ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Dedication to quality and continuous improvement
  • Prior experience assisting with payroll preferred
  • Prior experience developing in-house training programs a plus
